Trust is mentioned in our King James Bible 134 times.

Trust means: Confidence; a reliance or resting of the mind on the integrity, veracity, justice, friendship or other sound principle of another person. He or that which is the ground of confidence. Care; management.

Proverbs 29:25 " The fear of man bringeth a snare, but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord is safe.

You know there have been many times in my life, too many to count, that I have been afraid as to what God would do not knowing that was just bringing a snare or a trap into my life. I am my own worst enemy sometimes. The second part of that verse brings SO much comfort to my frail heart. ...But whoso putteth his trust in the Lord is safe. WOW! As ladies we want safety whether that's in the confines of our families, marriages, when we are out on the road! Safety is such a satisfying word when you think of it. You know that's what God brings into our lives when we TRUST him? Do you live your life in a constant state of fear or panic? You know as a daughter of the King we ought not to live that way. There are so many things that are out of control anyway. How about just running to Him and giving all of your worries and fears to the One who can take care of it all anyway.

The Bible says, "Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah."- Psalms 62:8.

The first part of that verse, we don't have to wonder what God means by that. Trusting him really is a command.... YUP! Even when we dont feel like it! We need to trust the Lord at ALL times. With that next bill? Yes. That next doctors appointment? Yes! Wayward children? Yes! Struggling marriage? Yes! IN EVERYTHING AT ALL TIMES. I know it can be easier to say it than do it, but God would have not put it in the Bible for us if he didn't believe we could! YOU CAN TRUST in the Eternal One who created us and knows exactly what our needs are!

We all have areas we need to work on. How are you in the area of trusting him? He mentions Trust 134 times. I'm thinking he thought Trusting him was important! One thing i appreciate about God's Word are the people he highlights. Their stories are so relatable and they were human just like you and me! Just like they needed to trust God back then we need to trust him now! We have something they didn't have-that is the Holy Spirit to help guide and comfort us!

If you have not trusted Christ to be your personal Savior please DO SO! Get in touch with Mrs. Josie or me. I would love to help you make the most important decision of your life! There's also a PLAN OF SALVATION tab on our web page if you have any questions.

If you are saved, Trusting God doesn't stop at salvation. It is a journey he wants us to take. Trusting him IS LIFE. It can be scary, but there is no SAFER place to be then in the middle of God's Will! Don't let Satan rob you of trusting God in all areas of your life!

Here are some verses on Trusting God. Maybe you can put them on a 3x5 card and post them all over the house. I encourage you to do a word study on Trust. You'll be amazed and comforted at the same time!

Trust ye in the Lord for ever; for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength;

Isaiah 26:4
