"And the truth shall set you free." John 8:32

The following Romans Road gospel tract was prepared for distribution during our church's outreach at our local 4th of July celebration.

Let's share our greatest freedom:

God's truth. As we celebrate the birth of this great nation, let's share His gift of salvation. Please feel free to share the tract throughout the rest of the year as we continue to celebrate our God-given freedoms. We plant the seed, and God will take care of the rest.

If you don't believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that these words of truth will lead you or someone you care about to salvation, a pivotal, life-changing, everlasting relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Accept God's gift of salvation today!

While I do not believe a ritualistic prayer will get anyone to Heaven, I do believe that calling upon the name of Jesus Christ with an attitude of repentance and trusting Him and Him alone for our salvation is what matters. You could pray something like:

"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I realize that I deserve Hell for my sins, but I trust You and only You to forgive me of my sins and take me to Heaven when I die. Jesus, please save me right now. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. Amen."
